About Us

Since 2016, Maple Leaf Ag has been providing chemicals and custom application to Western Illinois growers. This built upon a strong seed sales foundation.

In 2018, Maple Leaf Ag shifted gears to bring a diverse set of precision ag products to the area while contiuing to be a provider of choice for high-quality seed. Being focused on precision ag solutions alone unleashed a passion for providing superior support to customers.

Dan Baum – Owner

Dan graduated from Iowa State University in 2000 with a degree in Ag Systems Technology, but his involvement in agriculture started well before that. Dan’s family has a deep history in agriculture and has been farming in Henry County, Illinois for over 175 years. Maple Leaf AG lets Dan excel at putting his technical background to work to help customers.

Emily Baum – Owner

Emily is a proud Iowa State Graduate with a degree in Agriculture Business. Her farming roots run deep as she grew up on a family farm in Central Illinois. Emily is committed to making sure customers have a good experience interacting with the Maple Leaf Ag team.

Warren Bailey – Precision Specialist

Warren has been putting his Agronomy degree from Iowa State to work since 2016. He has worked with farmers across the Midwest to understand the ins and outs of farming and the importance of precision ag. Warren loves being a hands-on, trusted resource for farmers.
